On 5th December, 2015, International Soil Health Day was observed by Divyayan KVK. An awareness programme was conducted on the occasion which was participated by dignitaries like Dr Jitu Charan Ram, Hon’ble M.L.A.; Sri Manoj Kumar, Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi; Dr A. K. Singh, Director, ATARI, Kolkata, Dr. R. P.Singh ‘Ratan’, D.E.E., BAU, Ranchi and around 350 farmers. During the programme, farmers were made aware about the importance of soil health and use of bio-fertilisers and bio-pesticides. Soil health cards with advisory were also issued to farmers.  |
