Karma Puja, the festival of worshiping nature, was celebrated in Ashrama and Divyayan premises on 14th September 2024. In the afternoon program, Sri Meghnath, a national film awardee, is a filmmaker and activist who has been working in Jharkhand for over 40 years. He has worked to document the voices of people who are often unheard. While addressing the participants, he said the Karma festival reminds us to show gratitude towards nature, and our actions (Karam) should be based on moral values (Dharam). The students of RKMVERI also presented a cultural program on the Karma Festival.
The program was attended by the students of RKMVERI, trainees of Divyayan, devotees, and admirers of the Ashrama. In the evening program, Karma Puja was conducted with full devotion and solemnity in the Divyayan Premises in the midst of moderate rain, and around 200 people participated and took part in the Prasad in both the afternoon and evening programs.
