Rabi workshop was organized in Divyayan KVK in joint collaboration with District Agriculture Department and ATMA, Ranchi on 21st November 2016. Deputy Development Commissioner, Ranchi; Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Morabadi, Ranchi; Vice President Zila Parishad, Ranchi; Director SAMETI; District Agriculture Office, Ranchi; Project Director, ATMA, Ranchi and other officers from line department were distinguished guests of the programme. Sri Birendra Kumar, DDC Ranchi, chief guest of the event emphasized the importance of Rabi workshop for technology dissemination. Swami Bhaveshananda, Secretary Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Morabadi, Ranchi urged the farmers to utilize natural resources like cow urine, cow dung, farm waste materials for improving soil health and production and productivity of pulse crops. In this workshop, Progrramme Coordinator and scientists of Divyayan KVK discussed in detail about the low cost local resource based agricultural technologies related to Rabi season. The workshop was attended by 103 Extension Personnels of district agriculture department. Main Focus was given on wheat sowing by ZTT, water conservation, nutritional security and organic farming.
