Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama Honored for Yoga Promotion in Jharkhand
Hojai, Assam: The Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama in Jharkhand received well-deserved recognition for its significant contributions to the promotion of yoga in the state. Swami Bhaveshananda, the Secretary Maharaj of the Ashrama, was honored with the prestigious Swami Shivananda Saraswati Yoga Prerana Award during the inaugural session of the 18th Assam Yoga Mahotsav.
The award ceremony took place on Thursday, December 13, 2024, at the Jugal Kishore Kedia Bhawan in Hojai town. The event was graced by several dignitaries, including Dr. Manabendra Dutta Choudhary, Vice Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University, and MLA Lumding Shivu Mishra.
This award acknowledges the Ashrama’s dedicated efforts in spreading yoga practices and its positive impact on the well-being of the people of Jharkhand.
