Like every, this year too, 3 regional and 1 central kisan mela was organised to create awareness about latest technologies of agriculture and allied trades among the farming community. The date and venue of the mela are as given below

Village – Lamkana, Block-Bero, Date: 31January 2023(Regional)
Divyayan KVK Demonstration Farm, Getalsud , Block-Angara Date: 9 and 10 February 2023(Central)
The theme of the mela was “Healthy soil- Healthy crop- Healthy society through Natural/Organic Farming”
Regional Kisan Mela at Gutru, Burmu on 10 January 2023
The mela was inaugurated by Sri U. K. Sinha, State Marketing Manager, IFFCO in presence of other dignitaries from panchayti raj institutions like Sri Rajendra Sahi Munda, Smt. Parvati Devi and others.
The mela was keenly attended by the farmers. Farmers brought 531 vegetable exhibits, 97 birds and animal exhibits and 63 handicraft exhibits to show case their talent in the respective fields.
In all 42 farmers were awarded First Prize and 42 farmers were awarded second prize and 2 farmers were given consolation prizes for their exhibits.
The scientists of Divyayan KVK urged the farmers to adopt environment friendly natural farming for better produce and reducing input cost. The mela was attended by aroun 2500 farmers
Regional Kisan Mela at Tigranayatoli, Ratu on 18 January 2023
The mela was inaugurated by Dr. H. N. Dwivedi, Director, Department of Fisheries, Govt of Jharkhand in presence of other dignitaries like Sri Navin Jaiswal, MLA, Hatia Constituency; State Sri U. K. Singh, Marketing Manager, IFFCO; Sri Vikash Kumar, District Agriculture Officer, Ranchi from panchayti raj institutions like Sri Rajendra Sahi Munda, Smt. Parvati Devi and others.
The mela was keenly attended by the farmers. Farmers brought 323 exhibits including vegetable , birds and animal exhibits and handicraft exhibits to show case their talent in the respective fields.
In all 75 farmers were awarded First Prize and second prize
Sri Jaiswal called upon the farmers to use latest eco-friendly technologies of agriculture to enhance the productivity. Dr. Ajeet Kumar Singh, Senior Scientist of DIVYAYAN KVK urged the farmers to adopt natural farming for better produce and reducing input cost.
A Kisan Gosthi was organised in the morning session where farmers of the locality and the scientists of Divyayan KVK, RKMVERI had direct interaction to address different problems faced by the farmers in Rabi and Kharif season. The mela was attended by around 3000 farmers.

The mela was inaugurated by Dr. Satyanarayan, Director, Central Tasar Research and Training Institute, Ranchi in presence of other dignitaries Ms Shilpi Neha Tirkey, MLA, Mandar like CEO, Sudha Dairy; Smt Neha Kumari, Plant Protection Officer and members from panchayti raj institutions and others.
The mela was keenly attended by the farmers. Farmers brought 235 exhibits including vegetable , birds and animal exhibits and handicraft exhibits to show case their talent in the respective fields.
In all 71 farmers were awarded First Prize and second prize
Ms. Tirkey urged the farmers to take benefits of the project and programme run different state and central govt. agencies and to use latest eco-friendly technologies of agriculture to enhance the productivity.
