A seminar on ‘Bee to Business’ was organized on 16-17 August 2024 under the sponsorship of the National Beekeeping and Honey Mission. The objective of the seminar was to promote effective beekeeping practices for FPOs & farmers. The chief guest of the inaugural session was Mr. Vikash Kumar, Director of the State Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (SAMETI), Jharkhand. The session was presided over by Swami Bhaveshananda ji, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Morabadi, Ranchi. While addressing the gathering, the chief guest emphasized that regions where beekeeping is practiced see an increase in agricultural production and productivity. Therefore, he urged farmers to adopt beekeeping and honey production as a means to enhance their livelihood.
