The Retreat wasorganisedin the Ashrama auditorium.Around 250 number of devotees participated from different areas of Jharkhand.
The program started with the inaugural song by Swami Ishtakamanandaji Maharaj.
Shri Samir Chattopadhyay in his welcome address mentioned the relevance of this retreat. Swami Bhaveshanandaji, the Secretary of the Ashrama, conducted theguided meditation for 20 minutes. Swami Antaranandaji, Asst. Secretary of the Ashram, highlighted the Mannat Iti Mantra: Types of Japas, its importance etc.
Smt. Tanushree Sengupta described in a very poignant manner the affectionate flow towards Sri Sri Maa Sarada Devi and devotees.
Shri Rohit Verma and Shri Shaikat Banerjee beautifully presented the Swami-Shishya Conversation (between Swami Vivekananda and Sarat Chandra Chakraborty.
After the snack, Swami Prabhunamananda ji presented the devotional music. Swami Bhaveshanandaji, Secretary of the Ashrama, elaborated the relationship between the devoteesand Ashrama. He also highlighted the glorious history of 97 years of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Morabadi.
Ashrama Managing Committee President Sri Vinod Kumar Gaddhyanji presented the outline of the proposed temple of Sri RamakrishnaDev and appealed to the devotees to cooperate as much as possible.
Some devotees nicely described improvement in their personal and family life after taking initiation and through their association with Ashrama.
Shri Shyamal Roy concluded the retreat with two elevating devotional songs. All devotees took lunch prasad and left for home
