On the occasion of World Meditation Day, a program was organized at the Ramakrishna Mission Ashram in Morabadi, Ranchi. This event was jointly conducted by the Ramakrishna Mission Ashram and the Indian Yoga Association, Jharkhand State Chapter, in the RKMVERI seminar hall.
Justice Anubha Rawat Chaudhary from Jharkhand High Court was the distinguished guest at the event and encouraged everyone to practice meditation daily. Other speakers, including Deepankar Chatterjee, Pritam Banik, and Dr. Anuradha Vats, delivered lectures on the scientific, psychological, and practical aspects of meditation. Dr. Prabhat Kumar, District Medical Officer, Ranchi, was also present as a special guest.
Swami Bhaveshananda Maharaj guided the audience through meditation and expressed his wish for yogic, Jaivik, and Naitik Jharkhand. Amit Kumar, Secretary of the Indian Yoga Association, Jharkhand, delivered a vote of thanks. The program was moderated by Ms. Shraddha.
Approximately 75 people participated in the meditation session together.
